Meet the League

Who are these unmasked men undermining the rule of law in our country? Who can be so bold as to publicly cover up the crimes of the corrupt Trump administration?

Meet the Obstruction of Justice League!

Devin Nunes (CA-22), one of the first members of the Obstruction of Justice League, leaked classified information directly to President Trump. Nunes then recused himself from the House’s Russia investigation, pending a review of his behavior by the House Ethics Committee. While allegedly recused, he issued subpoenas meant to attack the FBI and its sources, and he blocked subpoenas requested by Democrats on the committee.

As the chair of the House Intelligence committee, he continues to undermine the Russia investigation at every turn.

Bob Goodlatte (VA-06), chair of the House Judiciary committee, has allowed baseless accusations of anti-Trump bias at the FBI to flourish. While all of the evidence for such bias is flimsy, Goodlatte finds ways to let his fellow Republicans push conspiracy theories in open hearings.

Ron DeSantis (FL-06) actually filed legislation to limit Robert Mueller’s investigation into a foreign power’s interference in the 2016 election.

Matt Gaetz (FL-01) told President Trump directly that he should fire Robert Mueller , which would have precipitated a full blown constitutional crisis.

After taking direction from the White House on how to obstruct the Mueller investigation, Jim Jordan (OH-04) goes on rants where he obfuscates reality in favor of wild conspiracy theories about rogue federal agents.

meadowsMark Meadows (NC-11) is a new addition to the league recently calling for the resignation of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, a circuitous effort to shutter the Mueller investigation, and to release a blatantly false memo about the FBI and DOJ.
